Description: Outstanding example of a 1964 Omega Arabesque d'Or watch that was designed by the world renown Gilbert Albert of Geneva.
This timepiece has been sparingly worn over the past 56 years and has always been kept in ideal conditions. As a result, the condition is exceptionally good.
The whole design is seamless. When worn it looks and feels like a bracelet. An invisible tab opens the spring loaded top when pushed, revealing the hidden watch underneath.
The face of the Omega watch is a champagne gold with baton hands and markers. It winds and sets perfectly, and kept good time during testing. The interior mechanism is in excellent condition, and there has been zero moisture exposure.
There is a unique feature on the underside - the watch itself is on a hinge, in order to wind comfortably it detaches on one side and clips securely back in place with minimal effort.
At the widest point the watch bracelet measures 0.90 of an inch graduating down gently to 0.40 of an inch and fits a size 6.75 inch wrist.
Sorry, this watch cannot be altered in size in any way.
All clasps and closures are secure and tight.
As with all Omega produced bracelets, this piece is triple signed, on the mechanism, clasp and case.
We very rarely get service history on the timepieces and always recommend a service by Omega for optimum time keeping.

Gilbert Albert was truly a master of his craft. He was the designer and head of Patek Philippe's workshop for seven years, and then created this design and others just as memorable for Omega. His fantastical and original pieces gained him the prestigious "Oscar" award at the Diamonds International Awards no less than ten times - three for Patek Philippe, two for Omega and five times under his own workshop; a unique achievement. Over the years, Albert's work has been exhibited around the world. The inspiration for Gilbert Albert's jewels has come from nature's forms and colors juxtaposed with the originality of the Etruscan and ancient goldsmiths.
Gilbert Albert is unfortunately no longer with us, and his work will continue to rise in value. This timepiece is a fabulous investment.
