Vintage Zales 14k White Gold Pear 0.45 Solitaire Natural Diamond Engagement Ring

Details & Condition: Beautiful vintage 14k white gold Pear shaped diamond made by Zales.
To buy this ring today from their website it would cost a staggering $2699!
Crafted in around 1970 /1971 this timeless elegant design looks chic when worn, one single solitary pear shaped stone is held in by 5 prongs and a "V" anchor on the top of the stone.
On the inside of the band the size of the stone is marked as 0.45 of a carat, we have checked this and it is correct (possibly a fraction larger)
The band is a snug size 8.
This piece bears Zale's early mark of FJG (please see photo's for trademark ownership file) and 14k.
