Details & Condition: Fine and Beautifully Detailed Etruscan Revival Period Micro Mosaic bouquet of Flowers set in an oval blue stone with red and white checkerboard border. The ornately beaded and wire rope Etruscan Revival Frame is 18k yellow gold with a high carat gold flash to make the brooch look identical to the original Etruscan jewellery. The Etruscan Revival style was extremely popular in the 1880's and many pieces were Grand Tour mementos. The pin back and catch have been replaced sometime in the brooch's past.
