The rare and early Gorham sterling silver stuffing spoon has the rivoted button to prevent the spoon from sliding down into deep bowls. The feature appears to have been used on these spoons made prior to 1930. The spoon is engraved with an Old English "H". The spoon measures 12-1/2 inches and weighs 155.5 grams. The spoon is in original as found condition and has not been machine polished. The spoon displays minor scratching and wear from normal use.
